“If you've moved into a new home, you already know window coverings tend to be the last thing on the list, until the glare hits, the neighbors can see in, and the rooms are overheating when the sun comes out. As an absolute light control expert, Holly knows exactly how to give you real privacy while still letting you enjoy natural light, and even have a view without feeling exposed! She also thinks through the details most people don't: protecting floors and rugs, reducing glare, and making each room feel balanced and comfortable. She has a great showroom in San Marcos, where you can see and feel the shades, blinds etc. in action.
One of the most unique (and honestly brilliant!) options she can install is a pet window in the shades, so your puppy or kitten can still look outside while you keep the rest of the window covered! It's such a thoughtful touch!
Budget-wise, Holly is incredibly practical and kind. If you need to, she can phase the project over time so you can get what you need now and finish the rest later without pressure. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. If you want window coverings that solve privacy, glare, and/or sun protection in one shot, Holly is the person to call. “Our experience with Holly has been superb! Communication throughout has been timely and we greatly appreciated her suggestions about products to best address our needs. Strong light (and heat gain in the late spring through early fall) made our space too bright and warm in the morning through early afternoon. When the highly capable and efficient installer Jerry lowered our new honeycomb shades, the temperature drop was noticeable. We're so pleased with the look and operation of the shades.
I'll note also that I wondered if our downtown San Diego location would pose difficulties for a North County vendor but it didn't seem to be a problem at all.”

“We worked with Holly who was so patient and helpful as we selected window treatments for our newly constructed home. She was very knowledgeable about the products and helped us choose the right items for us. We went with shutters throughout and Smart Drapes for the sliding glass window to the patio. We love them because they can turn from sheer to opaque for more privacy when you want it, but also because you can exit/enter through any spot on the drapes. The drapes are actually individual panels arranged in a way that looks like a solid drape, so you can go through the drapes to the other side from any point. I've never heard of Smart Drapes before, and all my neighbors, friends and family who have seen my drapes love them too! I'm glad Holly told me about them. I had originally wanted shutters on the patio door too but Holly suggested Smart Drapes. I'm so glad she did, I'm much happier with them than I would've been with a shutter. The Smart Drapes were less expensive too. The company could've sold me what I originally ordered and made more money, but they actually showed me something they thought was better suited to my needs. Install was on time, great quality product and service and very responsive customer service. I highly recommend this company! “
