Holly Sandford brings over 20 years of experience in interior design and seven years of specialized expertise in window coverings to every project she takes on. With a warm, modern, and approachable style, Holly is dedicated to helping homeowners create spaces that feel beautiful, comfortable, and complete. Known for her personalized approach and attention to detail, Holly makes the selection process feel simple and enjoyable. She takes the time to understand each client’s lifestyle, aesthetic, and goals, helping them feel confident in every decision along the way.
She works closely with new homebuyers, homeowners, and interior designers to select window coverings that enhance both the function and design of a home. Whether choosing shades, blinds, shutters, or drapery, Holly believes the right window treatments are an essential finishing touch that bring warmth, privacy, and personality to a space.
Outside of work, Holly enjoys spending time with family, taking daily walks with her husband and dog, and giving back through occasional interior design work for independent living facilities that support adults with autism.

Inez Elgie
Inez joined Modern Window Coverings in 2022 after making an exciting career change into a more creative, design-focused environment. With a background in business, technology, and customer relationships, she brings a thoughtful and people-centered approach to helping homeowners find window coverings that truly fit their style, space, and everyday needs.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, with a focus on information processing, design, and interaction. Her understanding of how people process information gives her a unique perspective when guiding clients through design choices, product options, and the little details that make a home feel complete.
Before joining Modern Window Coverings, Inez spent 15 years in technology, where she built strong customer relationships and helped people find solutions that worked for them. Today, she combines that experience with her love of design to make the window covering process feel easy, personal, and enjoyable.
Outside of work, Inez loves being involved in the San Marcos community, supporting S.T.E.A.M. programs, helping at the San Marcos High School, spending time outdoors with her family, enjoying savory foods, and saying hello to every dog she meets.
